RAINBOW BRIDGE



The Circus (2 Oct 2012)

 

“Riiing…..”  YES! A happy schooling day had just finished.  “What a beautiful weather!” Cubby said to Bit Bit. “Yeah, let’s not waste such a beautiful day” Toma replied. “I got a great idea! Let’s us go for a picnic.” Suggest Bit Bit.

So, there goes the Cubby Babies pack their picnic basket with sandwiches, apples, cheese and milk. And Cubby brought his little naughty pet, Devilish, along with them. They are so happy, singing and skipping, and hopping, walking hands in hands to their little forest for a picnic. Once arrived in the forest, Devilish is so happy and as mischievous as always, he is so excited and wondered off on his own. While walking away from Cubby, little mischief Devilish turn around and start waving his hand and say it out as loud as possible, “Bye Bye! I’m going to find myself more fun!” and there little Devillish started to run away as fast as possible. Oh no! Cubby, Bit Bit and Toma they are so afraid that Devilish will bump into trouble or got lost, everyone is so panic and quickly they started to chase after him.

While they are running deeper into the forest, there right in front of their eyes is a beautiful rainbow slide.  Devilish is even more excited and say to himself “Oh goodie! This is so beautiful and I’m sure it will bring me to fun land!” and there he goes ran up the rainbow bridge  and “Whhheeeeee…..” Devilish jumping and hopping up the bridge! “Oh no! Oh no!” Little Cubby is so panic, without hesitation Cubby, Bit Bit and Toma followed Devilish and ran after Devilish. 

They follow the rainbow steps, one, two, three, four… step by step walking up to the sky and catches many cloud as they walking up. Toma blowing bubbles in the sky, Cubby is jumping happily and Bit Bit is so worried that the bridge will break. Little Devilish as his usual naughty self, not afraid of nothing jumping and hopping in front of them as fast as he could! And there, they slide at the other end of the rainbow… the rainbow leads them to another world. They had landed in a place with buildings, cars, and smoke and finally they saw humans.

According to their legend book, human is a smart creature and they are also very dangerous. If you are lucky you would find love and care from them or else they’ll torture and abuse. Cubby, Bit Bit and Toma are so afraid, they tip-toed, run and hid themselves to prevent from being notice. Poor little Cubby has to hold on tight, carrying on to Devilish, afraid that he will run off again. They hide at the phone booth, ran around with a newspaper covering over them, if someone noticed them they will stop moving and pretend that they are a soft toy. 

While they are busy avoiding being notice by any human, they heard a nice saxophone melody playing by a little boy at the side of the road. Though on his body are rags and every sign of this boy show poverty but he has a sunshine smile. No one stop by to listen to his song, neither anyone gives him any money; everyone walks so fast and rushing for their day. Cubby pity the boy who played so hard trying to earn a little but no one noticed him, so Cubby gives his favourite cherry fruit to the boy. The boy is so happy and he could not believe he meet a live Teddy. The little boy then introduce himself as Michael and he quickly hide all of them in his bag and takes them home.

They had a happy shower in the bath together. Michael cut some bread and makes tomato soup. All of them were eating happily to fill up their tummy. After the meal, Tom is rushing out to a circus to perform.  Hopefully with the crowd there, he could make some money. The Cubby Babies followed along and hide in his bag. While Michael is performing, they slip out to play. They hide at the stage curtain and watch the performance in silence. Cubby, Bit Bit, Toma and Devilish are so impressed that human can do so many thing, dancing and eating fire, shooting and throwing knifes, sword performance, dancing, plays the musical instruments and lots and lots of some other amazing thing that they have never seen before.  They are so impressed with all the performance and wanted to see the performer after the show ends, so they quietly slip to the back stage and wait.

 There was a little elephant being beaten by the master, because the little elephant reluctant to perform. After the master left, Cubby ran to the little elephant and they started to talk in Bibi Bubu animal language. The poor little elephant is being separate from his mother. Little elephant misses his mother and home and all he wants now is to go home to his mother.  Cubby Babies wonders why are all these animals have been mistreated in the human world! They must help the elephant to escape and quietly and work out a plan together with Tom. They waited until the sky is dark and the whole circus closed and all is quiet.  The bad master has gone to bed to rest for the day. The Cubby Babies tip-toes ‘Ssshhh…’ quietly into the bad master’s room and Cubby steal the key from his pocket. Quickly and quietly they get to the elephant cage, use they key and unlocked the lock, telling the baby elephant to be very very quiet. “hush Baby Elephant, we are here to bring you to your mama”, Bit Bit whisper to Baby Elephant.

They cover Baby Elephant with a huge cloth and run as fast as they can into the forest nearby. Bit Bit is no ordinary rabbit, she has a lots of gadgets with her. She took out a rainbow detector to search for the rainbow bridge. Beep! Beep! There, they found the rainbow. With Michael’s help to lead the way, they arrived at the entrance of the rainbow bridge very quickly without being noticed. The Cubby Babies has to leave, Michael has no choice to let them go, to be back into where they came from. Cubby, Bit Bit and Toma gives Michael a big hug and they promised will visit him again. Baby Elephant gives a big hug to Michael with its long nose wrapped around his body. After they have said their good byes, Michael gave the Cubby Babies a basket full of food and the Cubby Babies and Baby Elephant quickly walk up the rainbow bridge. Bit Bit started using her gadgets to find out more about this magic rainbow, it is a magic bridge that will bring you to anywhere that you wanted to go. It is like a time traveller’s machine, it will bring you to a different time zone and another place when you slide down the rainbow. With the help of Bit Bit’s gadget, they got more information on when and how to send Baby Elephant back to Africa.

While waiting for the time to send Baby Elephant back to Africa, they have a little picnic on the rainbow with the food prepared by Tom and enjoy the view on top in the sky. The night is full of stars and it so peaceful and beautiful, but it never stops them from being babies. Cubby Babies and Baby Elephant started to play their baby’s games. They are so happy playing and so fast the time to transport Baby Elephant has arrived.  The little elephant bravely slide down the rainbow, doesn’t want to miss the time. Whhheee……. Baby Elephant slides down the rainbow on the other end and found his mama. The Cubby Babies jumps and waves their hands “Bye bye!!”, “Good bye!”, “Take care! We will miss you” to Baby Elephant. All of them are sad and happy at the same time, they are sad because they have to leave a good friend and they are happy because Baby Elephant has found his mama.

Another 2 hours is the turn for the rainbow lead them back to wonderland, so the Cubby Babies happily slide down from the rainbow. The Cubby Babies miss their home so much. They are grateful that they have arrived homesafely.

 

When the sun has risen the next morning, all the Cubby Babies come out and play again. They try imitating the human skills that they have seen in the circus. Cubby wants to be a swordsman, he wants protect all the babies. Bit Bit wants to be a ballerina, and Toma wants to be a music composer, he wants to be able to play with all the musical instruments. Little Devilfish as his usual mischievous self, he wants to play with fire, just like the fire dancer in the circus. Playing with fire is very dangerous, instead of allowing him to play with fire, Cubby only give Devilish a wooden stick wooden stick to play with.

Have you ever wonder about the animals that they may have goals or dreams just like anyone of us. They do too wants to climb the highest mountain, to see the sky, to search for the very best berry in the whole world, to swim in the deepest ocean, and to meet their friend from different wonderland. 

Even though they do not go to school, not able to speak our language but that does not mean we can take away everything from them.  They cry and feel just like every one of us. Listen to them with your heart, speak for them.

SPEAK NO EVIL
Speak for them when you see someone mistreating and animal; protect all the animals.

SEE NO EVIL
No more animal abuse or do not kill for your own enjoyment.  

HEAR NO EVIL
No more animal crying, if you hear them cry please save them.
